Service policy
E-CompuTech is dedicated to a high-level of customer satisfaction. Estimates are valid for 60 days.
Regarding hardware repair, upgrade, installation: If hardware worked on initially has reoccuring problems within 60 days of the work being completed, E-CompuTech will rectify the problem pertaining ONLY to the applicable part without additional charge. This is voided if the customer has made changes or had someone else make changes to the applicable hardware within the 60 day period.
Regarding software repair, upgrade, installation: If software involved in an initial work request is not operating correctly, within 30 days of the work being completed, E-CompuTech will rectify the problem pertaining ONLY to the applicable software, program, or operating system This is voided if the customer has made major changes or had someone else make major changes to the applicable software within the 30 day period.
Regarding unpaid balances and unclaimed property:
If your machine has not been paid in full or claimed within 90 days of completion and we have notified you via phone, email, and/or mail, it will then become the property of E-CompuTech, LLC.
Privacy policy
E-CompuTech, LLC is committed to protecting the security and privacy of all it's customers. The customer will be notified prior to any files needing to be copied and/or moved to other media for back-up to prevent loss of data and a work order or sales receipt must be signed acknowledging permission was given to complete this work request.
E-CompuTech will not keep any customer's personal files; all media that hold your personal data will be handed over to you along with your computer or laptop.
E-CompuTech hereby agrees to not use any personal data of a customer, without written consent, other than to complete the work requested. Customer's personal contact information will not be sold, traded, or given out without their knowledge and consent.
Contracted work policy
For contracted administrative services or IT services, E-CompuTech, LLC agrees to draw up a contract stating the duration of the contract, the set total amount and/or the pay rate, the business or customer's name, location(s) the contract work will be done at, and a detailed scope of the contract and warranties. E-CompuTech shall give a signed copy to the business/customer and shall receive a signed copy back within 5 business days prior to the start of the contract.
